HONOURABLE SHRI JUSTICE C. NAGAPPAN CHIEF JUSTICE, ORISSA HIGH COURT

Born on 4.10.1951.  Enrolled as an Advocate on 7.8.1974 and practiced as    Junior under  Shri. K. Parasaran, former Attorney General of India, in the High Court. Worked as Part time Professor in Madras Law College for 7 years. Directly recruited as District Judge in 1987 and worked as District and Sessions Judge at Cuddalore, Salem, Coimbatore and also worked as Special Officer, Vigilance Cell, High Court Madras. Worked as Chairman, State Transport Appellate Tribunal, Chennai. Appointed as Addl. Judge, Madras High Court on 27.9.2000 and as Permanent Judge on 20.09.2002. Took oath as the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court on 27.02.2013.
