Born on 24th December, 1932. Enrolled Pleader on 10th October, 1955 and Advocate on 16th February, 1959. Practised at Cuttack since November, 1955 and Standing Counsel for Orissa Board of Wakfs since 1975. Worked as Standing Counsel for Central Government from 15th May, 1978 to 24th September, 1981. Had been Legal Adviser, to Life Insurance Corporation of India since 8th August, 1977. Appointed Senior Standing Counsel by Food Corporation of India in January, 1979.
He served as the Judge of Orissa High Court from 1.6.1983 - 23.12.1994.
